Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Perfect Fit (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Perfect Fit, Inc.

Perfect Fit is a job-search and résumé-tailoring software platform. The Service lets you search live job listings, view fit scores against your profile, and generate tailored, ATS-optimized résumés for individual job openings. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan (Free or Pro).

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Perfect Fit offers a free tier (limited searches, no résumé generation) and a paid Pro plan billed monthly at the rate shown at checkout. All prices are in USD.

• Billing. Your card is charged at the start of each billing period. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your Account settings. You retain Pro access through the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• Refunds. We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first Pro charge if you are unsatisfied. Contact us at team@joinperfectfit.com.
• Price changes. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before increasing subscription prices. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal job-search purposes. You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Use the Service to create a competing product or service.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service.

You retain ownership of your résumé content and personal data. By uploading content, you grant Perfect Fit a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store that content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your résumé or personal data to third parties.

Résumés, fit scores, and other outputs are generated by Perfect Fit’s software and are provided for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating the accuracy of any output before submitting it to an employer or relying on it. Perfect Fit makes no guarantee that tailored résumés or fit scores will result in interviews, job offers, or any specific outcome.

The Service integrates with third-party providers (job-listing APIs, payment processors, authentication services). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of those services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.

All software, designs, logos, and proprietary content of the Service are owned by Perfect Fit, Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our brand assets without written permission.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PERFECT FIT’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Perfect Fit, Inc. and its officers, directors, and employees from any claim or demand arising out of your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute not resolved informally shall be settled by binding arbitration under the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted in English. You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
